Talk Twenties wins Best Education Podcast at the Podcasting for Business Awards

The Talk Twenties Podcast was shortlisted from hundreds of entries and won in the Best Education Podcast category of the inaugural Podcasting for Business Awards. The awards were announced in a fun, virtual online ceremony on the 26th of January, 2021.

“As a former teacher and considering how young the podcast is, winning an award for the Best Education Podcast has truly made my year” said Gaby Mendes, 25, who is the host of the Talk Twenties Podcast.

The Talk Twenties Podcast aims to bridge the gap between full-time education and the big wide world of adulting with episodes on finance, career and wellbeing. Launched in March 2020, the podcast has attracted an audience of over 10,000 listeners and aims to provide informative but approachable advice for twenty-somethings and recent graduates.

The Podcast For Business Awards are the brainchild of Lynsay Anne Gould, who is a top-rated podcaster, podcast agency owner and business coach. The Podcasting for Business Awards’ main aim is to celebrate the creativity of new and seasoned podcasters and help them reach a wider audience. Podcasting has taken off globally with Apple currently hosting over 1.68 million podcasts and there are over 10 million weekly podcast listeners here in the UK.

In her speech accepting the award, Gaby thanked all the previous guests who have featured on the podcast as well as the Talk Twenties podcast listeners who have supported the show in it’s infancy.
